Back in 2004, celebrity actress/idol Tamao Sato was voted by readers of weekly tabloid Shukan Shincho as the woman Japanese women most love to hate. I'm not so sure why this "average" celebrity was so despised, perhaps it was her voice, or the roles she played on TV dramas or the fact she was the very high profile girlfriend of (now ex) President of LiveDoor, Takafumie Horie, who said she loved his money more than him.
