News :Biggest Loser Season 7 (2009) Winner Is Helen Phillips
"The Biggest Loser" has crowned Helen Phillips as the winner in the second Couples edition. In the three-hour finale on Tuesday, May 12, viewers find out who becomes the third finalist, how the eliminated contestants of the season are doing and ultimately, who sheds the most body mass index (BMI) after 179 days.
Helen, a retired retail manager, entered the competition with her 29-year-old daughter Shanon Thomas. The 47-year-old started with 257 pounds and was trained by Bob before switching to Jillian. She lost 103 pounds while in campus and! advanced through after winning an immunity challenge and took two week's biggest loser titles. In the end of the day, Helen lost 140 pounds which is 54.47% in total.
Helen's winning was almost challenged by Mike who lost an amazing 207 pounds. Mike was voted by America over his father Ron to be the third finalist alongside Helen and Tara. But he lost by 1.12%.Helen was not the only winner on the finale, 63-year-old Jerry Hayes won the $100,000 at home prize. After going home, the eliminated contestants were expected to continue the goal to lose weight at home and Jerry successfully beat the others by shedding 177 pounds.
Additionally, viewers were encouraged to pick between two women who vie for the last spot of next season's "The Biggest Loser". Erin, 239 pounds, is ashamed of her weight and lost a boyfriend because of that. Amanda, 257 pounds, is only 19-years-old and wants to go to her prom night confident with her weight.

Doctors conducted an autopsy on the body of Michael Jackson on Friday but could not immediately determine what killed the "King of Pop," amid reports he had been injected with a narcotic painkiller shortly before collapsing.Jackson was in full cardiac arrest when paramedics arrived at his rented mansion in the Holmby Hills neighbourhood of Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, with his personal physician trying desperately to revive him.
The 50-year-old pop superstar was rushed to nearby UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead without regai! ning consciousness."The cause of death (determination) has been deferred, which means that the medical examiner has ordered additional testing such as toxicology and other studies," Los Angeles County Coroner's spokesman Craig Harvey said. "Those tests we anticipate will take an additional four to six weeks."Speaking to a throng of reporters outside the coroner's office, Harvey said, "There was no indication of any external trauma or indication of foul play to the body of Mr. Jackson."

Stefanía Fernández Krupij, (born September 4, 1990), is Miss Universe 2009, from Mérida, Venezuela; she represented her country, Venezuela, in the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in the Bahamas. Fernández won the Miss Venezuela 2008 title in a pageant held in Caracas, Venezuela on September 10, 2008. She was crowned by the outgoing titleholder, Dayana Mendoza, Miss Venezuela 2007 and Miss Universe 2008. Fernández also won the "Miss Elegance", "Best Body" and "Best Face", titles.
Stefania Fernandez became the second Miss Trujillo to win that title since the Miss Venezuela pageant f! irst began in 1952.
